Children’s Book Festival

I’m looking forward to going to go in to the Children’s Book Festival family day at the State Library tomorrow. It’s a free event. I’ll be checking out Gabrielle Wang’s dragon drawing workshop and  looking at the Persian art exhibition. In the afternoon I’ll be hanging out with my fellow black dog authors on the Walker Books stall in Little Lonsdale St. If you’re there, drop by and say hi.

  1. Hi Carole,
I met you yesterday at the State Library family day and you helped measure my height for the book compitition. I really love your character Kai the dragon and I can’t wait to read more of your books. I wish I had known you would be there, I would have brought along my dragonkeeoer books for you to sign!
I can’t wait for the release of Blood Brothers, my mum has pre-ordered it from our bookstore. Will you have a launch for your readers? If you do I would love to come along. I live in Melbourne.

  2. Maddie,
I’m glad that you are looking forward to reading Blood Brothers. I don’t know if there will be a launch in Melbourne. If there is I will announce it on this blog.

  3. That just a bit of bad luck that I live in South Australia!

Oh well. I hope you have fun. You too Maddie!
