Blog upgrade, Dragon Moon page added

Two things: I’ve just added a Dragon Moon page (and updated the menu to the left of your screen) and upgraded Carole’s blogging software.

If anyone has problems adding comments or notices anything weird happening with the blog page, please email me.

  1. carole, i was wondering if there was going to be a movie triliogy comming out to go along with the books.

  2. Loved Dragon Moon Carole, and thought it was an extremely satisfying ending. I was moved to tears (again) [plot spoiler removed] (At the end of Dragonkeeper I couldn’t decide if Isle of the Blest was Heaven) did you deliberately coincide the date with the exhibition in Melbourne on the Great Wall?

  3. Zachary,
Sorry about the delay in replying. It would be great to have a movie trilogy, but unfortunately I don’t have the $100 million it would require to make it. I’m waiting for Peter Jackson to call me!

  4. Jenny,
No it was a complete coincidence that the Great Wall exhibition is in town. The launch has been moved to 29th April now, I will do a blog about it when the details are all confirmed. Sorry I had to edit your comment, but I didn’t want to give away that plot detail to other readers.
I did not intend the Isle of the Blest to be heaven, but an actual place. In some Chinese myths that mention the Isle of the Blest, it moves about which makes it difficult to find!

  5. Carole, sorry about the “plot spoiler”, I forgot that many people probably haven’t read it all yet!
I would love you to come to my school to talk to the students in grades 5&6. How and who do I contact? We are Darley Primary in Bacchus Marsh Vic.

  6. Please Carol, write another dragonkeeper book!!! It would feel incomplete without it. What happened to Hua in dragon moon? he just sort of dissapeared.
Please just find some inspiration! Go to china if you have to! Make some killer hunt down kai and Ping has to save him, but somone is also following her!
And together ping and kai have to diffeat them. Please keep writing them though. It would be a shame to stop now. Think of all the possabilities!

  7. Please, they are my favorite books of all time and it just wouldn’t be the same without more. I would love for you to write more. just think of some crazy idea and write about it, Kai could have a son. Anything will do. Nobody else could give it your touch.

  8. These are words from J.K Rowling… At the moment I’m only planning to write seven Harry Potter books. I won’t say “never,” but I have no plans to write an eighth book. You should keep writing them!

    3.Hip-hip-horaay!!!
    woot.. xD

  12. George,
I’m afraid I don’t know. I would have thought it should be out by now. It just had to get shipped over from Aust. If you ask a bookshop that has a good kids section they might know. Sorry I can’t be any more help.

  13. Lucy,
Yes it’s an Australian book, so Australia is where it is published first. It’s only published in other countries if publishers over there decide they want to publish it. It’s complicated.

  14. Bradley,
As it happens I am writing another dragon book. An encyclopedia of dragons from all over the world. It will be out at the end of the year.

  15. Really?! yay!! thats wonderful to hear!! *does dance of joy* Is it similar to the dragon keeper series?

  16. Lydia,
No I’m sorry, I won’t be writing another one. I have got a list of books by other authors that you might like to read. I will do a post about it called Further Reading. It’ll be in red at the top of the right hand column.

  17. Lucy,
No it will be nothing like dragonkeeper. It will be an A-Z encyclopedia with stuff about dragons from all over the world.

  18. dil okulu,
sorry I don’t speak any other languages. The Dragonkeeper books are available in German, Japanese, Spanish, Greek, French, Swedish, Danish, Portuguese and Indonesian.
